If the bearing seat in the housing and the bearing width do not match, locating (stabilizing) rings are required. Typically, two locating rings are required per housing. One ring should be placed on each side of the bearing. If only one locating ring is required, it should be installed on the same side as the lock nut.

Very attractive lights.
These are some of the sharpest looking lights I've seen. They assemble fairly easily and anchor in the ground quite well. The downside is they do not stay on very long when night arrives. They put out an acceptable amount of light but not very bright. I just wish the light lasted longer.
